What is the best way to learn about Jiddu Krishnamurti?

First of all, never, ever, ever let someone explain Krishnamurti to you.

So, on a beautiful day, take a Krishnamurti book and walk peacefully into the shade of a tree, and then watch so that nothing and no one in the world interferes with what will happen between you, the teachings, and the tree.

The question is, why do we give so much importance to the human being as an individual?
That is, of course it has its importance, but parallel to the real existence of people, of each one, there is also an impersonal movement of the total human mind.

In the specific case of the K schools, there is concern for each student, of course, but perhaps the other action that the teaching has is lost and sometimes not very noticeable when we look at this or that person, but rather it acts on the total human consciousness.
K asked this question several times to people from Ojai, from Rishi, from Brockwood: what was coming out of the schools?
Answers have never been very encouraging but the schools are still there. If it were for the concrete result of enlightened people, then the schools would have to be closed already. But they are not only for that, they have another meaning not centered on people as such, but a broader one.

K said schools would have to be there by the time "that genius child" came. That is, it is a matter of time that one day a being with all the ingredients for the school to give an appropriate framework for his flowering, but that is not what is expected of the thousands of students who will pass by.
Apart from this expectation function of the "genius child" is also that the small changes that occur in each person affect the total of humanity. A person can have in his life only a moment of clarity. A glorious half hour in which he looked deeply, and that's all; that has been the meaning of his life.

But that dies with the individual? No, that acts on the whole human mind, even if in a very small way. Every understanding, expansion of perception affects everything. Not only to the human being but to all the life of the Earth. As the Buddha said:

"When the Blessed One became enlightened, all beings on Earth were also enlightened"

Then we have this second not-so-visible purpose of the schools, a non-spectacular sense, a quiet work in the depths of the human mind. Hence the great importance of schools and study centers.

Mutation is timeless and belongs to time simultaneously

Understanding is always instantaneous, but each flash then needs a time to "settle" in the whole being. That is not instantaneous.

A good example was given by Krishnamurti with the case of getting rid of habits - it takes 3 days: one day to observe what happens to one, another day to others ... etc.

While the essentials are instantaneous sparks of observation, those sparks cause an effect on the entire system that takes time to manifest.

And the same happens globally; the people who mutated thanks to the teaching of K are few, its effect is discreet and it is not yet noticeable, but little by little humanity is being affected.

So we have that perception affects material level simultaneously instantaneously and gradually.

Buddha Gautama's prediction that Maitreya would come when the Buddhism taught by him would no longer exist, has been fulfilled with the advent of Jiddu Krishnamurti.

The teachings of Krishnamurti are the blossoming of Buddhism. Gautama also predicted that his doctrine would be subject to degeneration, but not so the Buddhism that would be taught by Maitreya.

But while this is the main factor (the continuity and perfection of the teachings of the Buddha) there are others: the story of Krishnamurti is perfect from every point of view, going through the esoteric, scientific and astrological.

And also as it happened with the teachings of the Buddha, it will probably take about 200 years before there is an explosion of Krishnamurti's teachings.

Truth has its own rhythm.

The explainers of Krishnamurti

The issue is as follows:
There are already many analyzes of the teachings of Krishnamurti. There are whole books explaining it. Someone even once said that there was already a "K literary movement" in which many authors deal with explaining the teachings to others, something against which K warned a lot.

For me, each and every one of these analyzes are harmful because inevitably the teachings are filtered and distorted by the author's conditionings.

There are very few people in whom meditations arise and can amplify the shock wave of the teachings (so to speak), but such people never focus on K's personality or take the teaching itself as an object of analysis; rather, these meditations (as with K) are directed to the understanding of reality, of life.

That is, the person who lives the teachings is not going to deal with the logical dissection of what K has said; instead, it will direct its empty gaze towards reality and something that is not himself will be expressed.
Period.

Too often the understanding of Krishnamurti's teaching is much like the understanding of scientific facts.

When you study astronomy or zoology, you do not do that seeking to improve yourself "as a person"; You do it impersonally, without expecting results that affect you because you simply want to understand the facts of the universe.

But when we face the investigation of the facts of the human mind it seems that we become disoriented and we are already in the stream of "if I understand this, that will make me a better person."

It is a completely irrational leap and obstructs research. In fact, because there is a deviant interest, an inclination to see certain facts and not others, all inquiry ends.

When we speak from the intellect there is a recognizable atmosphere. There is a rhythm, a poetry (say) different than when we speak from meditative states.

That is, one does not transmit only words; instead, we also transmit the state from which these words arise.

Even if we say only one sentence, the meditative state charges that phrase with new meanings.

The meditative states are the only ones that instantly harmonize the other planes.

Just another "shoddy Krishnamurti" more. This time, even more dangerous

I found this photo after writing the note.
It is curious the liking that false teachers have about
placing flowers near them, when they are lying.

I think that Jeff Foster is even more dangerous than Tolle in the sense that (more shrewdly than Tolle) has avoided several points that could typecasting him as K's "interpreter":

• There is no way to know how he makes money out of this, except for his books. He does not charge - as does Tolle - even to witness the recordings of his videos.
• Adopts a position of "we are friends, I am not a guru" avoiding the stage with flowers like Tolle.
• He does not mention K in the sense that he is someone who exposes his teachings; however, many things he says, K said it years before.

I think that this introduction on his website can largely define Foster's message:
"I do not see myself as a spiritual or self-help guru, or even a 'teacher', really, although some people like to call me that. I see myself rather as a loving friend, who simply reminds you of what, deep down, you have always known: that there is nothing wrong with you ... and that you are loved beyond words, always, just as you are, in this moment ... " 

Wow. Hard to find anything more contrary to what K has said. The question is: why do people associate Foster with something similar to Krishnamurti's teachings? Just because they feel good when are close to him, or because he's good-looking, or because he's a Cambridge astrophysicist?

Because if we refer to his words, he is proclaiming the deepest acceptance of the "Me" that can be expressed by the most threatening New Age guru I can know about.

There is no single cause nor entity

Taken from a discussion:

We tend to blame the "fault" of something to a single factor, but that's just a supposition: almost nothing in life is triggered by a single cause.

All these factors influence, sometimes in opposite directions, sometimes all in the same direction. In the example we are seeing, the person is subject to:

• Psychological factors a person
• Energy factors of a person
• The social factor
• The energetic factor of the environment
• Astrological configuration

... And sure there are more.

The diet and drugs consumed by the person can be added to the energetic factors, but they are not the same.

The social factor is a bit of both components: psychological and energetic. I prefer to call it "groupal mind". But even that's not the energy. When you go to a football stadium in middle of the game, one can be dragged by the groupal atmosphere of the people, but if one enters another day at the stadium, at a time when there is nobody, you will still feel something because those energies remains in the walls. Krishnamurti spoke about this when he referred to the walls of the temples where the energy of thousands of years of mantras remained "attached" to them, etc. And for that reason, also he made talismans to study centers.

Then, suppose a person, who is naturally sensitive, is exposed to all of these factors simultaneously:

• has a addict body or chaotic (unstable) constitution
• his energy is weak
• he is in a delirious social environment
• the energy of that environment is intense
• There is a chaotic astrological configuration

If in the midst of all this he is carried away by the chaos, what is the culprit?

There is no single factor: the giant waves of Nazaré, in Portugal, are the product of a special combination of different factors, and so it is with the events of our lives.

It is very important to see clearly this.

This problem of seeing things in a simplified form, ie, ONE entity doing something due to A SINGLE cause may be a case of projection of the ego on the facts. If you look at the facts "in the Nagarjuna way", ie, essentially with no real entity, you will see only impersonal energies tides coming together and falling apart.

The assignment of entities to both individuals and influences is a trap of thinking with a center.

Conversation that took place somewhere about the Tolle subject, because right now this guy is already crossing the line and beating all the other famous distorters of Krishnamurti's teachings, like Osho, Ken Wilber, and the like. Before, he did not name K, but now he does.
He has gone a step further and has begun to interpret their texts ... and how!

Now, why do I say this?
For those who do not get it right away in the first 4 sentences / pages of any of his works: this guy has an obsession with power. All Tolle's preaching can be summarized as: "If you do what I say, you will have more personal power."
But since he does not say it directly but in a very disguised form, it passes by. Let's see, in this example, how he deforms what K says.
K cared nothing about what might happen. That's the key. It is very clear. "Nothing" means "nothing". It does not mean "I will be-in-line-with-what-is ... etc etc etc for..." ... for what???
Well - according to Tolle - to ensure that "your actions become empowered by the intelligence of Life itself."

Let's see if you can see the difference; in the K's case he does not expect anything from life. In the Tolle's case, he expects that life should give great power to his actions.
Both are completely the opposite.
And this is reflected again and again throughout all his books. Wherever one opens a book of this faker will find the blessed word "power" which even is already associated with Tolle; for example, "The Power of Now", "masteringthepowerofnow.com" (now going offline) etc. etc.

This is extraordinarily easy to see, but even so, millions of his followers do not see it.
Why?
Well, because they themselves are far too ambitious.
They really want that what Tolle says was true. They want that power. Then they buy his books, pay to go to his lectures and seminars, do what he says, and end up at the antipodes of total freedom and the absolute humility of the "I do not care what happens"

Due to the insistence of Tolle in power, in this obsession he has and shares with his followers, and because of the saying of K: "Power is evil" is that Tolle deserves the epithets with which we qualify him.

The raw truth is that Tolle is doing a enormous harm to many people.

Differences and hate

Part of a dialogue in the Facebook group "Uranianos" , about the groups that are different from others and manipulations to which this leads.

We now face a problem ... suppose there is a group that really has a difference to others ... what do we do then?

Let's see, let me be clear: such a difference EXISTS, it is not imaginary. Say, for example, the Watusi's higher stature. Or the cylindrical body of the Eskimos, making them more suitable for cold weather.

So what do we do? We will deny those differences because "we are all equal"???

Nazism caused a trauma to humanity, when they related closely the differences between people with hate.
That was like "If you're different, I hate you". Although racism is preexisting to Nazism (and castes, etc) after the WW2 there was an overreaction to the see differences among human groups. It seems that everyone are similar, and seeing any difference between human beings takes you automatically to the Hitler's bunker.
"All human beings are equal" is the official mantra. And it's true, but inwardly, in the depths. On the surface, at organic level, there are many differences.

But what if you look at the differences WITHOUT hate?

For example, look at people with Down syndrome. The Nazis executed the handicapped "by damaging the social group". Ok, that's hate. But if you look at that guy "different" with compassion ... with affection ... where is the problem of recognizing that "he's not like us"???

Diversity is a sign of the infinite creativity of the Manifestation.

The truth is that, in the whole universe seems that nothing is repeated. That is, diversity is a sign of the infinite creativity of the manifestation.
For example, mutants have some different collective characteristics compared to the normal ones, but I have yet to meet two identical mutants.

Carpenters also have several differences with regard to, say, vocational hitmen, like vocational seamstresses are different from vocational mountaineers. If we look at these differences as "ah, you are superior / inferior" then we're going wrong.

We have to see the differences, period. Do not be blind to them voluntarily, for being "discriminatory". Are you  high? Ok, you're high. Are you yellow? Oh yes, you're yellow. Depressive? Skillful? Alienated? etc etc etc.
In India, I met a friend of K, Krishna Nath. He said that both the Buddha and K agreed on one thing: "seeing things as they are is the hardest thing there is." And he regards this as the most important thing in life.

Where the "superior / inferior" thing  starts, the simple, objective, perception of the fact is over, and hatred has crept almost imperceptibly.

Differences are unavoidable, but hate is perfectly avoidable.
